OH2AP Keski-Uudenmaan Radioamatöörit – Radio Amateurs in Central Southern Finland – is a radio hobby club with some 90 members from several communities in the region north of the Helsinki metropolitan area.
The club station is located in Jarvenpaa, 30 km north of Helsinki. The club is operating an hf station and two repeater stations, and participates in various ham radio activities.
The club station call is OH2AP, with special event calls OH2OV and OH2NP. In year 2017, many club members were operating with a Centennial Celebration call OH100FIN.
OJ0/OH2AP special Market Reef pedition QSL cards will be handled via bureau or directly.
Club meetings are on Thursday evenings, starting at 6 pm., in the club room in Kartanontie 20: a yellowish wooden house called ’Seuratalo’ on the hill top near the town hall, the library and the railway station, 2nd floor.
Note: During the CoVid-pandemic, the club meetings are still on thursdays but on ’Teams’ remote mode. Check with the club e-mail ’oh2ap at sral dot fi’ to get a link to the remote meeting.
This is expected to be the situation through the summer 2021, at least. For the month of July, the club is on holidays.
