OH2AP Keski-Uudenmaan Radioamatöörit – Radio Amateurs in Central Southern Finland – is a radio hobby club with some 90 members from several communities in the region north of the Helsinki metropolitan area.
The club station is located in Järvenpää, 30 km north of Helsinki. The club is operating an hf station and two vhf/uhf repeater stations, and participates in various ham radio activities.
The club station call is OH2AP, with special event calls OH2OV and OH2NP. In year 2017, many club members were operating with a Centennial Celebration call OH100FIN. Club QSL cards will be handled via bureau.
OJ0/OH2AP special Märket Reef pedition QSL cards will be handled via bureau or directly.
Club meetings are on Thursday evenings, starting at 6 pm., in the club room in Kartanontie 20: a yellowish wooden house called ’Seuratalo’ on the hill top near the ’Järvenpää talo’ building, the library and the railway station, 2nd floor. Every now and then, we may have the club session elsewhere; info about this is in the front web page.
Note: During the CoVid-pandemic, the club meetings were still on thursdays but on ’MS Teams’ remote mode. Now as the situation is somewhat stabilized, the meetings are held in ’hybrid mode’, i.e. there is a meeting at the club location and also a ’Teams’ session link is active. Check with the club e-mail ’oh2ap at sral dot fi’ to get a link to the remote meeting.
For the month of July, the club is again on holidays.
